An acrylic and oil painting of Jesmond Dene House in Newcastle, seen through a garden full of flowers and greenery. I’ve painted this house more than once because it never quite looks the same twice. The light, flowers, shadows and changing seasons alter the way I see it each time, and returning to the same place becomes a way of noticing something new.
