Lost in the Woods, 2026

From the Beyond Trees series.
Lost in the Woods is a woodland scene with sunlight breaking through the trees and catching small areas of the forest floor.
What interested me was that shift between shadow and light. Most of the scene is enclosed by the trees, but the light coming through opens it up and gives the painting a different kind of energy.
