Pause and Paint

Pause & Paint is a mindful painting experience led by Carolina Rosas, a mixed media artist based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Each 90-minute session is designed around one simple idea — when you paint, you slow down.

You don't need any experience. You don't need to be creative. You just need to show up.

You'll be guided gently through colour and intuitive mark making while soft music plays, painting from a different reference each session — so no two are ever the same. There's no right or wrong result. Just your brush, your canvas, and time that's entirely yours. All materials provided, and your piece is yours to take home.

Small groups of 6–10. A calm, welcoming space. A hot drink included.

All levels welcome — including complete beginners.
