The World Can Wait

Original acrylic painting on panel canvas

From the Beyond Trees series.

A long path running between two rows of trees, with the branches meeting overhead to create an almost roof-like canopy. The path pulls your eye straight into the distance, while the trees make the whole scene feel enclosed and separate from everything outside it. That sense of stepping into a place where the rest of the day can wait is where the title came from.
