Beyond Trees

About the exhibition

Places become part of our lives quietly. Over time, they gather people, moments and versions of ourselves.

These paintings begin in quiet corners around Newcastle, but they are not records of specific views. They are about the memories a place holds, closer to the feeling than the view.

A painting can leave the place it began and take on a different life in someone else’s home.
